About the event

Every Wednesday and Friday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Kelsie will be in the greenhouse hosting general maintenance demonstrations in the greenhouse and community garden. Come by any time in the morning between 9:00 am and 11:00 am to help out in the gardens and greenhouse. Activities will vary based on the maintenance needs of the crops. We might be harvesting cucumbers, pruning tomatoes, training bean vines, dead heading mint, or seeding up spinach. We encourage you to come out, visit with neighbors, learn something new, and get acquainted with the gardens!

Please note: it is very warm inside the greenhouse, so dress in light, breathable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, wear closed-toe shoes, bring extra drinking water, and remember to take breaks outside if you start to feel too warm.

Due to safety reasons, open-toed shoes (sandals, flip flops, etc.) are not permitted in the greenhouse.
